Fulbright Scholar to speak on feminism in Taiwan Feb. 13

January 2008—A Fulbright Scholar from Taiwan will discuss feminism in Taiwan Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2-3 p.m. in the Joann Cole Mitte Art Building, room 2121.

The program, titled “Feminism in a Cultural Context: Taiwan’s Case,” will be given by Dr. Yuan-Jung Cheng, associate professor in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature at Taiwan’s National Sun Yat-sen University. The program, free and open to the public, is sponsored by the Department of English and the Office of the Provost at Texas State, and by the Council for the International Exchange of Scholars, which funds the Fulbright Scholar program.
