Stephanie Torralva Bernsen, Grant Assistant for the College of Liberal Arts, assists Liberal Arts faculty in preparing and submitting grant applications to funding agencies and foundations. After grants are awarded, she manages grant expenditures related to salaries, hiring, purchasing, travel and end-of-grant financial reporting.

Ms. Bernsen received her Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Science in August 2003 from Texas State University-San Marcos. Before joining the Dean’s office as Grant Assistant in April 2007, she worked with Texas Crime Stoppers. She is currently studying for her Master’s degree in Spanish.
