Jennifer Grant serves as Director for the College of Liberal Arts Advising Center. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Sociology and a Master of Arts degree in Sociology, both from Texas State. Ms. Grant began her employment at Texas State in 1999 as an Internship Coordinator and Lecturer in the Department of Sociology. She has worked for the University of Phoenix as a Business Development Specialist and as Director of Corporate Relations, overseeing all corporate outreach in the Houston area. In 2008, she returned to Texas State as an Advisor II. From 2009 – 2010 she served on the Executive Task Force of the Quality Enhancement Plan and she currently serves on the Electronic Portfolio Deployment and Adoption team.

Ms. Grant was born and raised in Martindale. She loves to cook, travel, practice yoga, and enjoys spending time with her six-year old daughter, Lauren.
