Pam Lemoine serves the Development Officer for the College of Liberal Arts and as Program Faculty in the Department of English, working with alumni to enhance the College’s academic program through volunteerism and philanthropy. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Sociology from Texas State and a Master of Science degree in Education/Leadership Studies from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
Before joining the College, Ms. Lemoine was an independent consultant to Nonprofit Works of Texas, providing training to executive directors of nonprofits throughout Texas and writing grants. She also served as President and CEO of the Coalition for the Homeless of Houston/Harris County, Inc., leading 170 member organizations in community initiatives related to at-risk and homeless populations. She has served with the Greater Houston Partnership, the City of Houston Community Development Task Force, the National Nonprofit Congress, the Houston Aeros Charities Board, the Cornerstone Recovery Board, the Board of Directors for Tarrant County Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse, and as a OneStar Foundation grant reviewer. Currently, she is a Texas State Mentor and serves on the Texas State Alumni Association Board of Directors.
