Manda Anderson is the Director of Academic Advising for the College of Liberal Arts.  She recieved her Master's Degree in Student Affairs and Higher Education in December 2010 from Texas State University- San Marcos.  She also received her Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies in May 2006 from Texas State.  Ms. Anderson joined the Liberal Arts Advising Center as an Academic Advisor in November 2006.  In addition to academic advising, she has also served on numerous University committees, chaired the Advising Assessment Team, supervised Liberal Arts Advising Center interns and taught University Seminar.


Ms. Anderson is also a general Liberal Arts Advisor, housed in the Advising Center in Flowers Hall.  Among other benefits of being in Academic Advising, she enjoys building relationships with students and helping them develop into well-rounded individuals.  She feels that working on a college campus is always an exciting adventure and every day brings about opportunities to impact, connect, and relate to college students.
