Why did you decide to pursue a career in higher education?
 decided to pursue a career in higher education because I wanted to help students navigate through their college experience like my advisors helped me. Navigating through college can be stressful and confusing so I wanted to help ease the process by providing quality information and positive energy.

What is your favorite part of working for Texas State University?
My coworkers and the culture here are Texas State!

What “words of wisdom” would you like to share with students?
If you have a language requirement, don’t wait until the last semester to try to complete it. Also, college isn’t just about getting an education. It’s about finding yourself, growing as a person, and having fun.
